The New Year's Giveaway is back! Last January, it was so warmly received by my clients and fans that I decided to launch it again this year. Anybody who follows The-Magic-of-Light Photography on Facebook (and all of their friends!) will have the opportunity to win a Free Portrait Session. The goal is to spread the word about The-Magic-Of-Light Photography and offer quality photography to more people.
Here is how it works…
1. Go to My Facebook Page
2. If you are not yet a fan, click "Like"
3. Find the "Share” link (bottom of left column)
4. Select "Share on your own Wall" and target "Public" or "Friends"
5. Under "Write something..." include a short message, something like this:
I really enjoy this photography site and wanted to let you know about this GREAT GIVEAWAY that is currently under way. By going to the site and clicking "Like" you give us both a chance to win a FREE PHOTO SESSION! Take a moment now and enter to win!
The giveaway will run until Sunday, January 29th (midnight PST).
Two winners will be announced:
1. An existing friend/fan who will recruit most of his/her friends
2. A new friend/fan who will be randomly selected

- I have been taking photographs all my life. At age 10, I borrowed my father's old Pentax camera and headed out to the fields. I took my first photography class a year after under the guidance of a documentary filmmaker, developed my first B&W photo and was hooked. I have never stopped "thinking in frames" since. I pursued a career in science that trained me to be thorough, precise, patient. But photography remained my passion and I am only truly happy when behind the camera.
