- I have been taking photographs all my life. At age 10, I borrowed my father's old Pentax camera and headed out to the fields. I took my first photography class a year after under the guidance of a documentary filmmaker, developed my first B&W photo and was hooked. I have never stopped "thinking in frames" since. I pursued a career in science that trained me to be thorough, precise, patient. But photography remained my passion and I am only truly happy when behind the camera.

{ Janice & Ives } Beach Wedding
"This is how it is supposed to be", said the celebrant when we met in the Miramontes Beach parking lot before heading down the trail to the ceremony site. "For the right reasons", she added. I quickly learned what she meant. We witnessed a beautiful, spontaneous, heartfelt ritual that evolved into a little newlywed picnic and a fun and lively stroll along this gorgeous part of the coast. They were completely emersed in happiness. I was so honored to be part of this day.
