I decided to launch 2011 with a Giveaway. It gives all my Facebook friends and followers (and their friends!) the opportunity to win a Free Portrait Session. The goal is to spread the word about The-Magic-Of-Light Photography and offer quality photography to more people.
Here is how it works…
1. Go to My Facebook Page
2. If you are not a follower yet, click "Like"
3. Go to “Suggest to Friends” link (top left column of the FB page)
4. Select your friends by clicking their picture thumbnails.
5. Under “Add a Personal Message” enter this text (or write something similar with this information):
I thought you would really enjoy this Website. By becoming a follower NOW, you give us both a chance to win a FREE photo session! Follow the link below, click “Like” and (important!) post on their Wall that I have sent You. More details at the site!
The contest will run until midnight (PST) of January 23rd.
There will be two (2!) winners:
1. An existing friend/follower who will recruit most of his/her friends
2. A new friend/follower who will recruit most of his/her friends

Winning Portrait Sessions include:

- I have been taking photographs all my life. At age 10, I borrowed my father's old Pentax camera and headed out to the fields. I took my first photography class a year after under the guidance of a documentary filmmaker, developed my first B&W photo and was hooked. I have never stopped "thinking in frames" since. I pursued a career in science that trained me to be thorough, precise, patient. But photography remained my passion and I am only truly happy when behind the camera.
